Because a homeowner who can't afford a roof shouldn't have to pay to find out what one costs. The information gap is the problem we exist to close — putting a paywall on it would just recreate the problem.
How do we make money?
Advertising on guide pages, the optional Plus plan, and referral fees when you choose to request contractor quotes. That's the whole list. None of it changes the number we show you.
Privacy promise
We don't sell personal data to contractors or lead brokers. Your address is used to measure your roof, not to generate a sales call. You decide if and when your details go anywhere.

Yes. Every calculator and the Quote Decoder are free, with no signup. The site is supported by advertising and optional contractor referrals — neither of which changes the numbers we show you.
